Cicada/Tettix

Although their web page contains little information,  it contains much free music available for anyone to listen. Now don’t go off thinking you”l get the latest hits from some popular band that is horrible, this isn’t your standard music. It is a style similar to game music, all made by the same person. Originally know as Cicada, the name was changed to Tettix to avoid legal issues. There are several albums worth of stuff, and sound like it really should be in a game. I’ve listened to two of his albums so far, and they are amazingly good at being what they are: game music. So far I’ve listened to two albums, so there is still more to go, but technology crisis II has a very nice retro feel to it, and I particularly like The slave rebellion at Genesis Point. Technology Crisis I also has a retro feel, and has an eerie beginning. Just now, the intro has finished, and I’m listening to the first song, and it also has an eerie quality, but in a sort of “going into a madman’s lair” sort of way, or maybe “entering dracula’s castle”. So far the music is very nice, especially since it’s free. I do not know about the rest of the albums, but I hope they will be of similar quality of what I have just listened too. Of course, this isn’t to anyone, as the style of music isn’t exactly the most popular. However, I think that Tettix creates the best music of its kind.

I will enjoy the music for a long time.

Edit:

Here is a track from Technology Crisis.
